Ramsay's Clinique de la Muette delivers first French Presidential Baby

France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy gave birth to the first French presidential baby on 19 October at Ramsay Santé's Clinique de la Muette. The child, a girl, was born around 7pm French time at La Muette which is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

It is first child to be born to a serving French president.

Clinique de la Muette, one of 10 Ramsay Santé facilities, is an 84 bed hospital which specialises in obstetrics and gynaecology, IVF, ophthalmology and a range of other surgical specialties.

The first lady thanked Ramsay Health Care and Clinique de la Muette with the following words penned on the Company’s latest newsletter: “For the Ramsay Group. With my sincere gratitude. Thank you! Carla Bruni Sarkozy”
