Mr Peter Moore is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007. He completed his years as a junior doctor at Orange Base Hospital in NSW. He then moved to Melbourne and completed his advanced training in Orthopaedic surgery there and in Tasmania. Peter completed a term in Albury in 2014 which has prompted his return to the area.
Peter has extensive experience in managing Orthopaedic trauma, having completed terms at The Alfred Hospital and The Royal Hobart Hospital. He also has been well trained in arthroplasty of the hip, knee and shoulder.
Peter has a special interest in the treatment of sporting injuries, in particular of the shoulder, elbow and knee. Peter has acted as the team doctor for the Melbourne Ice, in the Australian Ice Hockey League for 7 years.
He also has a keen interest in Medical Education. He has been involved in education and training with the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the International Conference on Residency Education. He is currently completing his Masters in Surgical Education at the University of Melbourne.
Peter has joined the team at Albury Orthopaedics after recently moving back to the local area with his family.
He is operating at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital and Albury Wodonga Health – Albury Campus and welcomes all private and public referrals.
