Dr Lane graduated from The University of Queensland (1983) with a Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS). After obtaining his Orthopaedic Specialist qualifications, Dr Lane undertook a fellowship in England (1997) and has since been consulting and operating at Greenslopes Private Hospital. 

Dr Lane has enjoyed the roles of Chairman of Queensland Orthopaedic Registrar Training (2014 - 2016), as well as the Director of Training at Greenslopes Private Hospital (2012).

Dr Lane understands issues which affect the legs, knees and hips can have enormous impact on your daily life.
