Mr Warwick Wright is an orthopedic surgeon with an interest in managing conditions of the upper limb including the hand. He has particular experience in managing shoulder arthritis and rotator cuff disease. Warwick also has interest in managing instability of the shoulder in younger individuals. On the hand, he has developed new techniques for treating basal arthritis of the thumb. Warwick continues active research in shoulder arthritis management options including the development of cutting-edge technologies which prolong the functional lifespan of shoulder prostheses. He has ongoing and published work in hand anatomy and hand arthritis surgery.

Currently, Warwick has appointments at Monash Health, Moorabbin campus and is Honorary Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Gippsland Campus.
Outside his medical practise he enjoys skiing, fishing, art, music and growing truffles in the Otway Ranges. He supports the St Pauls Anglican School in Balbalasang, Northern Philippines.
