Dr Dowd is an Australian-trained fully qualified Plastic Surgeon with an interest in hand surgery and in skin cancer surgery. He trained in Europe and the US and has published in International journals in both hand surgery and skin cancer surgery. Dr Dowd has undergone his training both in Sydney and extensively overseas.  He performs all types of plastic surgery and has an interest in hand surgery. Dr Dowd has published in international journals in both Hand and Skin Cancer surgery. He operates extensively in Sydney and has offices both in Nepean and at Macquarie University Hospital.  He is Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at Nepean Public Hospital.  Dr Dowd is a member of the NSW Hand Surgery Association, The Australian Hand Surgery Society and Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
