The Ramsay Way 2016 | 04 5 DEVELOPMENT NEWS New Farm Clinic opens new redevelopment New Farm Clinic unveiled its multi-million dollar redevelopment on 30th November 2016. The two-level redevelopment includes 56 private single rooms, 10 professional consulting suites, gymnasium, 5 group therapy rooms and an onsite car park. The Clinic is now one of the largest private psychiatric facilities in Brisbane with 128 beds. The Clinic features all private rooms with ensuites. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, television, phone and internet services. The increase in private accommodation and group therapy rooms will improve patient access to Inpatient and Day Psychiatric Programs. The Clinic provides services in adolescent mental health, anxiety and depression, cognitive behaviour, dialectal behaviour, ECT, elderly assessment, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, social development and TMSr. The Clinic also provides a 10-bed Eating Disorder Program. “South East Queensland is experiencing a growth in demand for mental health services. New Farm Clinic cares for 7,500 patients each year and is one of only a few private mental health facilities servicing the region. This redevelopment will ensure that patients have accessed to high quality mental health services locally” Ken Craig, Chief Executive Officer said.
