With the increasing number of foreign and expatriation patients attending its facility, Premier Bintaro Hospital has introduced a new service: “International Patient Services” with the aim of fulfilling the healthcare requirements of foreign patients. As part of the service assistance is extended to these patients and their family which promotes a positive hospital experience by bridging language differences, providing personal support and accommodating service requests. For its cooperation and support in conducting joint promotion programs with the expatriation community, Premier Bintaro Hospital received the Certificate of Appreciation “Outstanding Contribution Award”. Rosdelima Simarmata (Infection Control Manager RHCI) was chosen (on behalf of Jatinegara Hospital) by the Joint Commission International (JCI) to present on the Hospital’s International Hand Hygiene Project at Executive Briefings in Singapore. Hospitals participating included 4 hospitals from the Middle East, 2 Queensland Scrub Club present their experience on the project at the Asian Pacific Executive&(Philippines–PacificAsiafromhospitals3&EuropefromhospitalsMalaysia & Indonesia). JCI invited 2 project leaders from Asia Pacific to Briefings from the 1-2 November 2012 in Singapore. The inaugural Ramsay Health Care QLD Scrub Club Periop Expo was held in June at the Greenslopes Project leader, Rosdelima Simarmata presented on behalf of Jatinegara. Clinical School.
