GP Involvement

General Practitioners are encouraged to manage their own patients in Hospital where possible. It is expected that GPs will visit inpatients daily, and involve the GP Intern in the patient's management.

GPs are also encouraged to participate in the numerous educational events held on a daily basis. Please contact the Medical Education Officer on 5022 3208 for details of these sessions.

The Mallee Division of General Practice also offers a comprehensive education program.
