Our Birthing Suites are equipped with ensuites,
telephone, tea and coffee facilities.
Patient rooms consist of single and shared
accommodation with ensuites, television and
telephone (single rooms are allocated according to
medical need).
The Special Care Nursery is fully equipped to
provide specialised care for your baby if required.
DOMICILIARY MIDWIFERY SERVICE
Mildura Base Hospital has a Domiciliary
Midwifery Service which is offerred to all new mothers to assist with the transition to home.

Mildura Base Hospital provides a service for mothers who require assistance with:
- Breast feeding
- Parenting
- Coping with anxiety and stress
- Feeding difficulties
- Sleeping/settling problems
- Assessment and counselling for post natal
