Dr Anne grew up on a small farm in the mid North of South Australia.
Anne completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2000. She completed her Specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012. In 2010 she was awarded the medal for outstanding achievement in the RANZCOG specialist examinations. In the same year, she completed a Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine with the UNSW. Dr Anne developed a collaborative service for the management of high-risk medical disorders in pregnancy at Cairns Hospital in 2011. She continues to work within the service providing planning and management for women with chronic medical disease in pregnancy.
Anne has experienced her own difficult journey with pregnancy loss and IVF and is the mother of an energetic daughter. Having been a “patient” on many occasions, she remains conscious of the challenges that many people face as they negotiate the complexities of the health care system. She is committed to delivering compassionate and patient-centred care, especially during the difficult journey of infertility.
Dr Anne is able to offer consultations for fertility issues (female and male factor), including recurrent miscarriage, PCOS and fertility preservation. She is able to provide preconception care for women with chronic medical disease as well as preconception and early pregnancy care for women following pregnancy loss.
