Dr Peter Hewitt has an interest in the field of Arthroplasty (joint replacement surgery) involving the use of computer navigation during surgery in both primary and difficult revision knee and hip replacement operations.

Dr Hewitt received his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1981. He undertook postgraduate training in Orthopaedics in Brisbane and received his Fellowship in Orthopaedics in 1988. Following this he undertook further general Orthopaedic training in England.
