Graduating from the University of King Saud in 2003 Dr Alzahrani completed his Internship in Saudi before commencing residency and surgical training. Nayef completed the general surgery training program and was awarded with three surgical fellowships : SB-GS, AB-GS (International) and FRACS (Australia).
Nayef is trained in general surgery and completed a subspecialty fellowship in Liver and Surgical Oncology. He started as a Surgical Oncology and General Surgery Staff Specialist at St George Public Hospital in 2015. He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The College of Medicine, IMISU, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since 2011.
To date, Nayef has performed in excess of more than 700 Cytoreductive surgeries and Peritonectomy and HIPEC since 2012.
Dr Nayef Alzahrani is a specialist in the management of peritoneal surface malignancy and intraperitoneal chemotherapy, cytoreduction surgery, gasto-intestinal cancers, ovarian cancer and primary and metastatic cancer in the liver and all General Surgery procedures . He has a particular interest in clinical research and medical education and has published more than 60 articles in the field of Surgical Oncology.?
