The Ramsay Way 2017 | 01 15 FUN & FITNESS Hollywood Team Raises $50,000 for Youth Focus Hollywood Private Hospital has raised $50,000 during its Champagne Sunset fund raising event for the Hawaiian Ride for youth – a premier charity event that supports Youth Focus, a not-for-profit organisation to prevent youth suicide. The event was held in the new City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club at City Beach with guests including Youth Focus CEO, Fiona Kalaf, Head Coach of West Coast Eagles, Adam Simpson and Hawaiian CEO and West Coast Eagles Chairman, Russell Gibbs, along with a large number of medical specialists, sampling French champagne whilst being entertained by Perth Symphony Orchestra. Over $50,000 was raised through tickets sales and the live and silent auctions, with guests bidding on items including signed sports memorabilia donated by the West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers and Perth Wildcats, and luxurious weekends away. The Hollywood team comprising Urologists Andrew Tan and Tom Shannon, Orthopaedic Surgeons Clem McCormick and Ryan Lisle and Anaesthetist Steven Myles, will ride more than 700km from Albany to Perth with Hollywood Chief Executive Officer, Peter Mott participating in the CEO Challenge from Mandurah to Perth.
