The world class facility brings together a suite of cancer services under one roof, complementing the existing cancer services available at the hospital. 

Hollywood Chief Executive Officer Peter Mott said the new centre ensured patients undergoing cancer treatment have ease of access to the latest technology and techniques. 

“The Hollywood Consulting Centre brings together leading experts to focus on the early diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment care of a wide range of cancers,” Mr Mott said. 

“Patients will receive integrated cancer care with medical and radiation oncologists, haematologists, surgeons, radiologists, nurses and clinical trial researchers all on the one campus.” 

The Hollywood Consulting Centre features: 

• The Perth Breast Cancer Institute and Breast Cancer Research Centre of WA 
• Perth Radiological Clinic - a practice specialising in cancer imaging 
• GenesisCare radiation oncology centre   
• An Endoscopy Suite with four procedure rooms, 17 recovery bays and 14 discharge pods 
• 37 medical consulting rooms 
• A 280-bay multi-storey car park, providing patients with convenient access to the centre 
• Services available at the centre include CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, real-time X-ray tracking, ultrasound, radiotherapy treatment and mammography

Patients will also have access to Hollywood’s Cancer Care Navigation service. The program involves a senior registered nurse guiding cancer patients through their treatment - from initial diagnosis through to post treatment care. 

Mr Mott said the addition of services at the Hollywood Consulting Centre enables the hospital to provide quality cancer care to a greater number of patients. 

“Our aim is to provide the best possible outcomes for patients,” Mr Mott said. 

“Hollywood currently treats one in three privately insured cancer patients in WA and we expect this will increase with the opening of the centre. 

“The Hollywood Consulting Centre is part of an ambitious expansion plan by Ramsay Health Care aimed at cementing Hollywood’s position as the premier private hospital in WA.”
