Claiming it as one of Ramsay Health Care’s largest attended events ever, Mr Paul Ramsay told the audience that John Flynn was one of Ramsay’s great hospitals and he was delighted to be there to help celebrate its 20th anniversary. “We were overwhelmed by the response of our doctors and staff, with quite a few who had been here since the doors opened in 1993”, said Hospital CEO, Greg Jenke. In celebration of its rich history, psychiatrist Dr Robert Goldney launched a book titled The Adelaide Clinic: The first 25 years, which documents the initial planning and the Clinic’s subsequent evolution into its current position as a centre of excellence for psychiatric practice. Ramsay Chairman Paul Ramsay present at the launch of the book said The Clinic had always been known for its clinical standards and he was deeply indebted to Bob Goldney for recording its history. “This book has brought back many fond memories for me and I hope will do so for others as well,” Mr Ramsay said.
