Important information for patients insured with nib

Ramsay Surgical Centre Cleveland has been established to provide the Redlands community with more choice and greater access to convenient, high-quality surgical care close to home. 

There isn’t a funding agreement in place with health insurer nib for Ramsay Surgical Centre Cleveland, which means that patients insured with nib or any of its white label brands may be required to pay an out-of-pocket expense for admission.

To avoid this, where clinically appropriate, we can arrange treatment at nearby Greenslopes Private Hospital, which remains an agreement hospital for nib members.

Another option may be to use private health insurance portability provisions to transfer to another insurer that has an agreement with Ramsay Surgical Centre Cleveland.

To date, no nib patients have incurred an additional out-of-pocket expense at Cleveland, as their care has instead been provided at Greenslopes.
