My name is Lisa Gribbin and I have been at North Shore Private Hospital for 5 years.

Describe your job without using a position title?

My current job involves managing the administrative team and ensuring that the administration functions run smoothly and cohesively.

What motivates you and why?

Being part of a great team, making a difference, supporting staff and patients.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

To be able to teleport! It would make the trip to see family & friends in Ireland and UK very easy.

What does the Year of Health and Care Workers mean to you?

I have been a registered nurse since 2000. Last year was a challenging year for everyone in our community, health care workers in particular. The year of the health care worker is wonderful recognition of all the people who work in health services, both the clinical staff and those behind the scenes like the administrative staff.

What would you say to inspire future generations of workers in health care?

Health Care is so rewarding, it is exciting, fulfilling and so diverse. I could not imagine a working in any other industry.
