My name is Sandy and I’ve worked at Caloundra Private Clinic for 5 years.

Describe your job without using a position title?

I take pride in my job by making sure all patient needs are met and to be part of keeping the cleanliness of the clinic a priority.

What motivates you and why?

To see what I have achieved and accomplished at the end of the day as I like to know the job has been done... this makes me happy.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I love painting and would like to improve on that.

What does the Year of Health and Care Workers mean to you?

It is so beneficial to be recognised and acknowledged for all that we do as Health and Care workers. It is so important, especially in these times, that the patient, the worker and all feel safe and cared for.

What would you say to inspire future generations of workers in health care?

To take pride in all that you do every day, and to never be afraid to take on anything that comes your way.
