He provides a comprehensive range of treatment options for patients of all ages who are suffering from sports-related injuries, other trauma or joint wear and tear.
Mr Lisle engages patients in decisions regarding their treatment, with a focus on friendly and effective communication to ensure they're fully informed and have a realistic expectation of the likely outcome of any surgical intervention.In those cases where surgery is unlikely to offer any sustained benefit, an alternative non-operative management plan will be developed, tailored to the patient's needs and lifestyle.
On a roster with his Hollywood Orthopaedic Group colleagues Mr Lisle also visits Karratha and Port Hedland.
Background & Training
Ryan graduated in medicine at the University of Western Australia. After commencing his orthopaedic training in Victoria, he returned to Perth to complete his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013. Subsequently, he undertook two additional years of subspecialty training in paediatrics and arthroscopic surgery.
With a particular interest in paediatrics, Ryan completed the internationally recognised paediatric fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and then worked with Dr Justin Roe at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Sydney; focusing on arthroscopic and reconstructive knee surgery. He then spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, where he completed further training in arthroscopic surgical techniques through the University of British Columbia.
