PEOPLE&CULTURE Port Macquarie staff appreciation – service awards function The Ramsay Way - 2014 | 03 11 On Friday 18th July at the Town Green Inn in Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie Private Hospital, Hastings Day Surgery and Coolenberg Day Surgery held a Staff Appreciation – Service Awards Function to recognise the outstanding contribution staff have made to the facilities. “Over thirty per cent of the staff had a service length of greater than ten years which is an outstanding statistic” said Paul Geddes CEO. “It is a privilege to be able to recognise the staff milestones in their careers because they thoroughly deserve recognition for their commitment to our facilities and the community. They are a fantastic group and the night was a success,” Paul said. Of particular note were the two employees with greater than thirty years of service being Dianne Kennedy RN who joined the organisation in 1981 and is currently the longest servicing employee and Tania Gahan Billing Officer who commenced in 1983. Dianne states that “Support, working with other fantastic nurses and being part of the growth of the organisation” have been her highlights whilst Tania states “It is a lovely place to work and being part of the positive changes over the years has been memorable.” Rocky rocks!
