Peel staff run for Nepal Peel Health Campus Clinical Maternity Manager Jemma Freegard was so moved by the earthquake in Nepal, she decided she wanted to do something to help. Jemma decided to set up the Peel Pavement Pounders — an amazing group of staff that have joined forces to raise funds to provide birth kits and shelter boxes for women in Nepal. Currently 12 women and 75 babies die each day in Nepal due to complications of childbirth. During November the team members ran 16km a week, totalling 1275 km for the month and raising just over $4,000. Director of Clinical Services, Di Barr said the staff were truly amazing and a credit to the organisation. “It’s wonderful to see staff embracing the Ramsay Way. We’re incredibly lucky to have such passionate and caring people at Peel.” said Di.  Everyone’s a Winner at Noosa Triathlon 2015 On Sunday, November 1, Noosa filled with thousands of ultra-fit people, including a number of Ramsay staff and consulting specialists, all vying for the top honour in one event — the Noosa Triathlon on the Sunshine Coast.
