Car parking

  • Visitors can access free on-site parking, via Smith Street, for up to two hours. 
  • Parking over two hours will incur a fee. 
  • The car park uses a number plate recognition system. Please ensure you know your vehicle registration details, as these will be required to validate your parking upon departure.
  • We encourage families and carers to use the designated drop-off zone on Smith Street, rather than parking and waiting inside. You’ll receive a notification from our patient tracking system when it’s time to collect your loved one.

Visiting hours

Ramsay Surgical Centre Charlestown offers flexible visiting hours during the hospital’s opening hours, to ensure our patients have adequate time to rest and recover. 

Opening hours: 6am - 6pm daily.

Visiting tips

To support our patients' comfort and well-being, please keep in mind:  

  • Patients may tire quickly, so we recommend keeping visits brief.
  • Keep noise levels low to ensure a peaceful environment.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
  • If you’re feeling unwell, please wait until you’ve recovered before visiting.
