The expansion will increase Hollywood’s total number of cath labs to six — the most of any hospital in Perth — reinforcing the hospital’s strategic vision to be the leading cardiovascular centre in the city.

Hollywood Private Hospital Chief Executive Officer Andrew Tome said the investment follows growing demand for specialist heart care in Western Australia and builds on Hollywood’s long-standing reputation for high-quality cardiac and vascular services.

“Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of hospitalisation in Australia, and this expansion ensures we’re well placed to care for more patients when they need us most,” Mr Tome said.

“With six cath labs, we’ll have the most of any hospital in Perth — enabling us to scale up our response while maintaining the high-quality, personalised care our patients expect.”

Hollywood Private Hospital already offers some of the most comprehensive private cardiac services in the state, with 24/7 emergency cardiac care, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and tailored cardiac rehabilitation programs.

The hospital’s dedicated Acute Cardiac Unit, Intensive Care Unit and cardiology ward are supported by exceptional cardiologists and intensive care specialists and advanced diagnostics, including ECG, stress and exercise echocardiography.
