North Shore Private Hospital reveals fresh, modern renovation

March 05, 2020

Maternity patients are the first to access new modern rooms, following a refurbishment at North Shore Private Hospital.

The project included transforming the hospital’s ground floor foyer, common areas on the south side of the hospital, and maternity and orthopaedic rooms.

North Shore Private Hospital CEO, Richard Ryan, said: “The refurbishment will ensure the hospital’s aesthetics align with its high-class quality services and enhance the patient experience.”

Seven new-look maternity rooms are now ready for use, with the remaining 30 to be completed by June. The upgraded rooms will provide additional comfort for patients and complement the hospital’s recently renovated delivery suites.

North Shore Private’s orthopaedic rooms will also be completely refurbished.

Mr Ryan said: “The rooms have been fully refurbished with new carpet, paint colour, bed head and ensuites. We have included little nuances to embrace new technology, including USB ports and larger televisions.”

Re-painting of the hospital’s foyer is complete, and work is also being undertaken to refurbish the reception area and change the hospital’s artwork.

“We’re refurbishing the hospital in stages to ensure we give strategic consideration to how each aspect of the project will enhance the overall patient experience,” Mr Ryan said.
