Ramsay’s Service Line Director of Cancer, Jonathan Cotton, said Ramsay Cancer Care receives more than 150,000 patient visits each year.

“Ramsay offers cancer treatment in more than fifty facilities, supporting more than 50,000 patients,” Mr Cotton said.

“We’re focussed on ensuring patients have the best possible experience and outcomes when we treat them for cancer. We know it can often be confusing for patients to know what services they need, which is why we’ve introduced Cancer Care Navigators to help guide and support patients and their families through their cancer journey.”

Ramsay is not only a leader in providing exceptional cancer care, but also a key contributor to advancing the field through research initiatives. Since 2017, Ramsay Health Care has been investing in cancer research via the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation.

“Australia has one of the highest cancer survival rates in the world, but we know they can be better,” Mr Cotton said.

“Ramsay has 93 live oncology and haematology clinical trials, 36 of which commenced in the past 12 months and many are first in-human trials, giving hundreds of cancer patients access to new therapies.

“We hope this research will lead to better patient outcomes and healthier communities around the country.
