The Local Business Awards acknowledge outstanding local businesses and their people who go above and beyond.

Mt Wilga Private Hospital Director of Allied Health, Jennifer King, said: “This award is a reflection on the outstanding service that our Allied Health and Support Services staff provide to our patients every day. 

“The health care industry has been extremely challenging over the last few years. I am so thankful for the amazing team at Ramsay Health Plus and proud of their resilience and determination to continue to serve their patients and their community.”

Ramsay Health Plus’s team of allied health professionals provide high quality, personalised care based on scientific evidence. The team helps patients optimise their health and fitness, enhance a safe return to work, return to sport and exercise or transition back into the community after illness or injury.

Ms King thanked the local community for their role in Ramsay Health Plus taking out the award. 

“We have wonderful patients, many who have been attending Ramsay Health Plus for many years. Over the past 20 years our business has grown and we now help locals with more than 13,500 appointments each year.”   

The first round of the Local Business Awards is voted on by the public. Finalists are then judged against specific criteria and their online presence by a panel of judges. 

Ramsay Health Plus Mt Wilga is part of the National Ramsay health Plus network with 32 clinics across Australia offering a range of Allied Health Services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, speech pathology, dietetics, psychology and social work.
