Opened on 2nd August, Ramsay Health Plus is a new service that supports patients with chronic and acute health conditions to optimise their health and fitness and enhance a safe return to work, sport or recreation. 

Southern Highlands Private Hospital Chief Executive Officer Prue Buist, said it was wonderful to offer the community a new private allied health service. 

“Our new Ramsay Health Plus clinic will really help a broad range of people in our community. They can come here for a pre-admission program, post-surgery rehabilitation or for treatment independent of any hospital services - and they don’t need a doctor’s referral,” Ms Buist said. 

“This expansion is another example of Ramsay Health Care investing in our region and helping our community members to access quality health care close to home”. 

Ramsay Health Plus Allied Health Manager Dean Englefield said the Ramsay Health Plus clinic draws on the experience of practitioners connected to Southern Highlands Private Hospital. 

“This will allow us to provide an excellent continuity of care for patients requiring rehabilitation and reconditioning services after a hospital stay at Southern Highlands Private Hospital. Our    facilities include a spacious exercise gym, hydrotherapy pool and private consulting suites where we can tailor individual programs for our patients,” Mr Englefield said.
