Ramsay to play a role in Sydney’s mass COVID-19 vaccination hub

Ramsay Health Care is pleased to be partnering with the NSW Government in the establishment of a mass COVID-19 vaccination hub in Sydney Olympic Park, located at Homebush in Sydney’s west.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the new hub, which is designed to support the federal government’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program, will have capacity to administer about 30,000 doses per week.
Ramsay Health Care Australia’s Chief Nurse, Dr Bernadette Eather, said Ramsay was in the process of confirming details but has committed to providing nurse immunisers, registered nurses and pharmacists to assist with the program.
“Our experienced teams have a strong track record of administering flu vaccinations each year to our staff and people in our communities, which puts us in good stead to assist with this new vaccination hub. In Victoria and Western Australia, we are already administering AstraZeneca doses to some of our staff,” Dr Eather said.
