Dr Akosile is the unit director for addictions and an addiction specialist (Fellow of two colleges, FRANZCP and FAChAM) who has several peer-reviewed research in addiction, psychiatry and dual diagnosis. He provides inpatient and outpatient services which include holistic management of substance use disorders and non-substance use disorder psychiatric diagnosis, consideration of individual psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, functional restoration and neuro-stimulation. He recently completed his PhD at QUT and his research was on the link between PTSD and coronary artery disease.

Dr Brook Burchgart is an addiction psychiatrist who specialises in inpatient management of complex substance use disorders and dual-diagnosis conditions. Dr Burchgart has experience working in adult psychiatry and addiction within both public and private health sectors. She is also in private practice on the Gold Coast where she specialises in the management of chronic pain in the context of addiction and mental illness. Dr Burchgart will commence with the Ramsay Clinic New Farm in in February 2022 and primarily provide inpatient services for substance use-disorders.

Warren is an Associate Professor at The University of Queensland and has held the position of Director, Queensland Eating Disorders Service (QuEDS) since 2005. He is Chair of the Queensland Health Eating Disorder Advisory Group and co-author of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (RANZCP) Clinical Practice Guidelines for Eating Disorders. In 2017 he received the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED) Distinguished Achievement Award. In 2018 he was elected a Fellow of the International Academy of Eating Disorders. He has published more than forty articles and book chapters, most of them on eating disorders. Warren will come on board as Director of the new Ramsay Mental Health Eating Disorders Training Program.
