Marc is a Dutch trained Urologist who completed his fellowship with the European Board of Urology in 2013, before being enticed ‘down under’ by his Australian wife. Marc then undertook fellowship training in uro-oncology, laparoscopic and robotic surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, before moving to the Albury-Wodonga region in 2015.
Now a fellow of the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons, Marc is happily settled in Albury Wodonga with local family ties to the region. He is excited to be starting Border Urology, an Albury based private practice, in April 2019.
Marc is a general urologist with special interests in urological oncology, minimally invasive stone surgery and the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).

Dr Sim is a general and Interventional Cardiologist who works at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. He holds a public appointment at Albury Wodonga Health Service where he runs the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, as well as an honorary appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. Originally from Malaysia, he graduated from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland before completing his cardiology specialist training in Perth, Western Australia. He later undertook subspeciality training in Interventional Cardiology at the Northern Hospital and St Vincent’s Private Hospital.
