Dr Ben Dodd is a General Surgeon with subspecialty interest in laparoscopic upper gastrointestinal (oesophagogastric) and bariatric surgery.
After growing up in Brisbane and completing a Bachelor of Science degree, Ben graduated in Medicine from the University of Queensland in 2001. He then completed his specialty training in the UK and Ireland, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2013.
Dr Dodd returned to Brisbane to undertake further fellowship training in complex laparoscopic upper GI cancer and bariatric surgeries at the Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals. He also completed the Australasian Fellowship exam and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) during this time.
Dr Friebe has a strong commitment to the service aspect of obstetrics and gynaecology and strives to ensure his patients receive high-quality care. A large emphasis is on communication so that patients understand their choices and feel empowered to be involved in the decision-making process with Dr Friebe in both an obstetrics and gynaecology setting. Consultations are conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner to reduce some of the inevitable anxiety that goes with seeing the gynaecologist.

Dr Meredith Ogilvie-Brown is a Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine. Having graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), she commenced her career as a physiotherapist in public and private hospitals as well as in community settings. She then completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at University of Queensland’s School of Medicine, graduating in 2008.
Dr Soong-Yuan Ooi is an Australian trained Gastroenterologist with a sub-specialty interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Based at Holy Spirit Northside and North West Private Hospitals, he provides consultation services in general gastroenterology with a keen interest in IBD, together with endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures including bowel cancer screening.
Dr Pappalardo began her medical studies at the University of Queensland School of Medicine, where she was awarded an MBBS with First Class Honours and a University Medal in Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane before undertaking her ophthalmology residency at the City Eye Centre and the Mater Adult’s and Mater Children’s Hospitals in Brisbane.
Dr Patten was born in Charters Towers and raised in Brisbane. He has undertaken extensive training both locally and in the UK. His practice has a strong focus on arthroplasty surgery of the hip and knee, including hip resurfacing for the treatment of arthritis. He has a further interest in sports medicine, ligament reconstruction, hip and knee arthroscopy and trauma surgery.
Dr Patten is committed to the treatment and ongoing management of patients with orthopaedic conditions. He currently is involved in general orthopaedic trauma management at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside (formerly known as Holy Spirit Northside Hospital), St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Northwest Private Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.

Queensland receiving two memorial prizes on graduation with a

Dr Pinto completed his residency years in the major surgical
hospitals of Brisbane before finalising his specialty training
in vascular surgery in secondments both locally at the Royal
Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospitals and overseas in New
Zealand. During this period Dr Pinto attained specialist skills in
open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques for both
arterial and venous disease along with renal access work.

Dr Yeo’s special interest is disorders of the Foot, Ankle and general Lower Limb Trauma. He currently holds a public appointment at the Prince Charles Hospital. Dr Yeo also consults and operates out of the Brisbane Orthopaedic Specialist rooms, Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital.

Lauren completed her specialty training in dermatology in Victoria in 2014. She subsequently specialised in skin cancer management, undertaking a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery.
