About
Dr Kugathasan Nadarasa is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist committed to providing comprehensive and patient-centred cardiovascular care for patients across the Albury-Wodonga region and surrounding communities. He consults from Border Heart Specialists in West Albury and provides specialist cardiac services at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital.
Dr Nadarasa completed his general physician training before undertaking advanced specialist training in Cardiology at Dunedin Teaching Hospital in New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
His clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, medical cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac imaging. Dr Nadarasa is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best possible cardiovascular health outcomes through evidence-based care, preventative strategies and personalised treatment plans.
Dr Nadarasa values the importance of delivering high-quality specialist services close to home, ensuring regional patients can access expert cardiac care without the need to travel to metropolitan centres. He works collaboratively with general practitioners, physicians, allied health professionals and the wider healthcare team to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
