Dr Ryan is a General Surgeon who has pursued additional training in skin and melanoma surgery, surgical oncology, breast and endocrine surgery, advanced laparoscopic and complex hernia management.

Dr Ryan was the 2019 Poche Surgical Fellow for the Melanoma Institute of Australia in Sydney where he worked with world renowned general, plastics and head & neck surgeons. He has expertise in managing patients with melanoma and other skin cancers and strives to achieve optimal treatment and cosmetic outcomes. He has expertise in performing local flap reconstructions and grafts, head and neck procedures, sentinel node biopsy and lymph node dissections.

Dr Ryan was a NSW surgical trainee at St George, RPA, Wollongong and Tweed Heads Hospitals. He is committed to medical education and currently shares the role of Clinical Lead for the Discipline of Surgery for Bond University, with interest in:
