Dr Kimberley is part of the Women’s Obstetric and Gynaecology Specialists group, joining as a general gynaecologist in mid 2023. Kimberley offers general gynaecological services including; colposcopy, contraception, family planning advice (preconception, ovulation induction), medical management of common gynaecological conditions (for example, heavy and/or painful periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome) and sexual health. She has completed advanced training in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and performs a wide range of procedures such as endometrial ablation, treatment of endometriosis and fibroids, ovarian cysts and hysterectomies.
She has a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Anatomy from The University of Melbourne and has published research. She studied post-graduate Medicine at Notre Dame University in Fremantle, Western Australia. Kimberley completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. She has worked at a number of hospitals around Australia, including one year as the Gynaecology Oncology Fellow at The Royal Hobart Hospital where she acquired advanced skills in cervical and vulval disorders management.
During her transition to consultancy, she held the role of Principle Obstetrics and Gynaecology Senior Registrar, which involved developing and implementing clinical quality improvement programs to optimise patient care together with leading and mentoring junior medical staff. Her commitment to research and teaching the next generation of doctors continues as a RANZCOG trainee research assessor. She holds a public position at the Royal Women’s Hospital in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service, Abortion, Contraception and Sexual Health units, African Women’s Clinic as well as in maternity care. Kimberley is also currently completing a Masters in Reproductive Medicine.
Kimberley loves to spend time with her family and especially enjoys weekends away to the Sorrento and Aireys Inlet. She likes to cook, keep fit with pilates and is enjoying learning French.
