Dr. Chin-Wern Chan is a Specialist Physician in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine and practices at Hollywood Private Hospital. Background & Training

Following his graduation from the University of Western Australia (UWA), Dr. Chan pursued anesthesia training in Western Australia, concurrently undertaking a fellowship in pain medicine at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His educational journey continued with a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia and pain medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Subsequently, Dr. Chan furthered his expertise through a clinical fellowship in pain medicine and regional anesthesia at the University of Toronto in Canada. This fellowship, conducted at the Wasser Pain Center in Mount Sinai Hospital and the Department of Anesthesia at Toronto Western Hospital, allowed him to delve into various aspects of pain management. Throughout this period, he conducted research on topics such as low back pain, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques, and pediatric pain management.
