Dr Justin Ng is a Cardiologist with interests in electrophysiology, device therapies such as implantation of permanent pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers. Committed to providing patients with the highest level of care, Dr Ng’s clinical endeavours include;

• General cardiology and heart failure management and treatment
• Device therapy and implantation
• Follow up and troubleshooting of pacemakers, loop recorders, internal cardiac defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy,
• Management of simple and complex arrhythmias: SVT, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, PVCs and ventricular tachycardia-Inherited channelopathies and arrhythmia syndromes.

A leader in his field, in 2017 Dr Ng became the first doctor to implant a subcutaneous defibrillator in a patient at Joondalup Health Campus. Dr Ng treats private patients at Joondalup Private Hospital and also sees public patients at Joondalup Health Campus. He also consults from his rooms at Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands.

Training & Background:

Dr Ng undertook his general cardiology training as well as a fellowship in echocardiography at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He obtained further training in electrophysiology in Canada at St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver through the University of British Columbia. He also undertook further training at and Brigham and Women’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA.
