He pursued Physician and Cardiology specialty training at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Following his general cardiology training, he undertook an interventional cardiology fellowship at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. He then moved to British Columbia, Canada, for a two-year complex coronary intervention fellowship at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on Vancouver Island. During this time, he played a key role in facilitating local and international research trials at the Victoria Heart Institute Foundation.
Research & Teaching
Dr. Harvey is committed to ongoing education and research. He has served as an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland and a clinical teacher for examination candidate physician registrars. He is actively involved in clinical teaching for medical students and training doctors in Perth.
