Assoc Prof Karthigasu is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. His main focus following specialist training and experience is in advanced laparoscopic surgery for fertility and endometriosis.  Dr Karthigasu primary interests are laparoscopic surgery, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, hysteroscopic surgery, fertility surgery and IVF. Dr Kathigasu also performs advanced endoscopic surgery as well as fertility treatment at Fertility Specialists South. He is also currently a Specialist Gynaecologist with a focus on gynaecological laparoscopic surgery at KEMH, the Head of Gynaecology Endoscopy at KEMH and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Gynaecology at UWA.

Background & Training

Associate Professor Krish Karthigasu is a locally trained. He has worked in Perth, England, Melbourne and Sydney and has undertaken further training in advanced endoscopic surgery. He is a clinical Associate Professor in the department of women's and Infants health in the University of Western Australia and has been Head of the Gynaecology Endoscopy Department at King Edward Memorial Hospital since 2007 having set up the unit in conjunction with Dr Ray Garry in 2002.
