Currently, he is the recipient of a research grant from the Cancer Trials Unit, focusing on assessing sarcopenia as a surrogate radiological biomarker for the cancer population across all age groups, including immunotherapy and chemotherapy patients. As a sub-investigator in multiple solid organ malignancy trials at Hollywood Private Hospital, Dr. Khan actively contributes to advancing cancer treatment. Furthermore, he is enthusiastic about developing a novel sub-specialty in geriatric oncology to enhance holistic care and improve survival outcomes for older adults with cancer.
