Ken graduated from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2008.  He has trained exclusively in the Hunter New England area health network through his medical career, culminating in Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in General and Respiratory Medicine in 2018.

Currently, Ken is appointed as a Staff Specialist in General and Respiratory Medicine in the Hunter network.

He is a member of the COPD Alliance Project, an initiative targeted at improving clinical outcomes following hospitalization for airways exacerbations in an outpatient setting.

He holds a Conjoint Fellowship with the University of Newcastle, a position which allows him to deliver an ongoing contribution as an educator to the junior medical community.  He is also affiliated with the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), from which he has obtained certification in thoracic ultrasound.

Apart from a broad enthusiasm for respiratory medicine, Ken has specific interests in airways disease, lung cancer and interventional procedures (including bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and pleural procedures).
