Dr Hannah Burns is a specialist Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience to her practice, with a strong focus on paediatric ENT care, airway disorders, and vascular anomalies.
Dr Burns consults at Northside ENT and holds Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) appointments at North West Private Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. She completed an advanced fellowship in paediatric otolaryngology at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.
She is the current President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Otolaryngology (ANZSPO), Editor-in-Chief of the Australian Journal of Otolaryngology, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Dr Burns is also actively involved with the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), contributing to national ENT education and advocacy.
She treats both adults and children and welcomes referrals for a broad range of ENT conditions.
