Dr Haresh Kankotiya is the principal dentist at Shoalhaven Dental Surgery and Implant Centre. He graduated as Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004, from the dental school renowned for strict fundamentals, research and clinical excellence and is a member of the ADA ( Australian Dental Association).
Dr Kankotiya has achieved Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology at Charles Sturt University ( Orange NSW, Australia) in 2013 and have attended many continuing education courses thereafter. Dr Kankotiya has also appeared for the National Board Dental Examination at Los Angeles, California USA and have achieved overall distinction in 2010. Since graduation, Dr Kankotiya has achieved substantial experience by working in a both public and private sectors. Dr Kankotiya has worked as a Senior Dental Officer for the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Services. Dr Kankotiya has also worked for the Royal Australian Navy-Albatross, NOWRA and have looked after the teeth of Senior officers, Pilots, Crew members and Sailors.
Dr Kankotiya is passionate about dentistry and is highly regarded in the profession where he is renowned for his clinical excellence. The well being and comfort of patients are his primary concerns and his genuine empathy with patients has won him a loyal patient base.
Dr Kankotiya has interests in dental implants, wisdom teeth surgery and cosmetic dentistry and endeavours to keep up to date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Dr Kankotiya is married with Dr Jigisha Mehta who is also a dentist and works at our practice and at Nowra Private Hospital. Dr Kankotiya enjoys playing table tennis, travelling and watching scientific documentaries in his leisure time.
