Dr Alireza (Ali) Fallah is a medical oncologist.
He is currently working as a Medical Oncology and General Medicine physician in a number of public and private Melbourne hospitals.
As a medical oncologist he has particular interest in Gastrointestinal, Lung, Breast and Genitourinary cancers.
He advocates for effective and extensive cancer screening for at risk population in order to diagnose the cancer at an early stage which is the key point to receive successful treatment. Ali follows latest advances in oncology very closely and he has great experience and interest in the use of immunotherapy for treating various cancers.
Dr Ali Fallah champions a multidisciplinary approach in his practice and collaborates closely with other specialists and an expert team of oncology dieticians, psycho-oncology team, palliative care & chemotherapy nurses and allied health to provide the best possible care to cancer patients and support their families. He dedicates his practice towards excellence in outcome as well as compassion for his patients. Dr Fallah graduated from medical school with an M.D. degree in 2006. He completed his basic physician training at Box Hill and Royal Melbourne Hospital and undertook advanced training in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine at Monash Health and Royal Melbourne Hospital (2011-16) and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016.
Ali has a Master of Clinical trials from University of Sydney and has been actively involved in various trials and research activities and published scientific papers, review articles, posters, abstracts and oral presentations in different scientific meetings.
