Dr Goetz is an anaesthetist who works at The Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane and Pindara Private Hospital, Gold Coast. She has an interest in Anaesthesia for cranial vault reconstruction for craniosynostosis and massive blood transfusion.

Sarah trained in medicine in London but did further anaesthesia training in Perth and also a fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She has travelled extensively, both for recreation and also for work, taking part in missions with Operation Smile and Interplast to Vietnam and Indonesia, anaesthetising children for cleft palate and burns surgery. She also travels within Australia with the Deadly Ears program for Aboriginal children.

She is a keen skier, horse rider and surfer, and is married to an Orthopaedic Surgeon. They have 3 children who share their passion for sport and travel.
