Dr Daniel de Viana is a Medical Graduate from University of Queensland, who completed his General Surgery training through Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. He undertook comprehensive postgraduate surgical training in Breast Surgery and Cancer Management in the United Kingdom. He settled on the Gold Coast in 1999, initially working as Staff Breast Surgeon at Gold Coast Hospital, and commenced Private Practice in the year 2000. Dr de Viana also serves as a Consultant Surgeon for Breastscreen Queensland, Southport Branch.

His private practice services include:

• Surgical management of benign breast conditions

• Surgical management of malignant breast disease

• Reconstructive Breast Surgery (Oncoplastic breast surgery)

• Plastic surgery of the breast

• Thyroid surgery

Dr de Viana is an Executive Member of Australasian Society of Breast Disease and Breast SurgANZ, a Consultant Surgeon at BreastScreen Queensland (Southport), and also a Member of the Australian Medical Association (QLD) and the Gold Coast Medical Association.

Dr de Viana lives locally on the Gold Coast, and is happily married with 4 children.
