Dr William Talbot is a specialty trained orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in adult and paediatric conditions of the shoulder and knee as well as an interest in trauma.
Dr Talbot has trained in leading orthopaedic trauma and specialty centres throughout Australia and has a continued interest in sports injuries and arthritic conditions.
In 2002 Dr Talbot completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland. He continued with his studies and attained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 and in 2015 completed his training.
He furthered his training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Reconstruction in 2016 at ORIQL Townsville.
Dr Talbot has a keen interest in education and during his career has held the following academic posts:

Dr Talbot is committed to providing the best possible health outcomes to regional patients and as such received the John Flynn Scholarship from the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine where he undertook over 4 years with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill NSW.
