Mr Dan Lenaghan is a General Urological Surgeon. He received his medical degree from Melbourne University. He went on to complete basic surgical training in various hospitals throughout Melbourne and followed this up with advanced Urological surgery training within specialist hospitals in New South Wales. Dan was invited to complete a Clinical Fellowship in Endourology and Oncology at Stepping Hill Hospital, Manchester, UK. This provided him the opportunity to study under world class surgeons to master newly pioneered techniques in advanced laparascopic surgery. Dan's area of interest is in the area of minimally invasive stone surgery.
Dan practices in General Urology, with an interest in Uro-Oncology and Endourology. Where surgery is the best option, endourological techniques allow most patient to be treated either without the need for an incision, by use of a laser or by pure laparoscopic "keyhole" surgery. Endourology is a urological subspecialty which uses minimally invasive techniques to treat urinary tract stones, as well as benign and malignant diseases of the prostate, kidney and bladder.
Dan consults and operates in Shepparton.
