Dr Campbell completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Batchelor or Surgery at James Cook University in Townsville. Following Dr Campbell completed his intern and resident years at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He attained a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medcine through James Cook University followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in /surgical /anatomy through the University of Otago, New Zealand . Dr Campbell completed his vascualr surgery trainig at a number of Queensland tertiary medical facilities includeing Royal Brisbane and Woman's Hospital, The Townsville Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Wellington Hospital in New Zealand.
