Dr Kharbat is a Gastroenterologist with experience in interventional endoscoy and expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP. He completed his physician training and general gastroenterology/hepatology training in tertiary hospitals across Sydney (Nepean Hospital and St George Hospital), before undertaking fellowship training in therapeutic endoscopy and Pancreatology at Royal Perth Hospital in Perth, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr Kharbat is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at St George Public Hospital. He performs procedures at both St George Public & Private Hospitals.
