Professor Paul Sved is a consultant Urological Surgeon with appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. He is also a clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical teaching and cancer research. Prof Sved is a leading figure in robotically assisted urological surgery in Australia.

After graduating from the University of Sydney with honours degrees in Science and Medicine, Prof Sved undertook Residency and General Surgical training at Royal North Shore Hospital. He was then awarded the prestigious Gordon Craig Fellowship in Urology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney. After achieving his Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship in Urology he completed a Master of Medicine degree in prostate cancer at the University of Sydney. He was awarded best graduating NSW Urology Registrar in 2002.
